Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty is pleased to host a series of

rotating artists for the monthly Bainbridge Island Art Walk at the “Island Living Gallery.

This month, we are proud to present artwork by Laurie Barmore,

Mike Seidl and live music by Songbird.

Laurie Barmore, a Washington-based abstract expressionist painter, draws inspiration from nature, poetry, and universal human experiences. Raised in California, her formative years exploring forests and beaches shaped her keen eye for texture and color. Despite a career in nursing, her passion for art blossomed in her thirties, leading her to abstract painting for emotional expression. Influenced by artists like O'Keefe, Van Gogh, and Mitchell, Laurie's work, characterized by rich texture and vibrant color, has been exhibited nationally, including at the Triton Museum of Art. She currently resides and works in Bremerton, WA
